How long have you been a beader/jewelry maker?

About 8 years

Why do you want to participate in the Best Little Bead Box project?
A fun project ! And i have many beads and stone cabochons to contribute.

Have beads changed your life? How?
Not really changed it but have added another dimension to my creativity.

Do you consider yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced beader/jewelry maker?
Intermediate

How did you get started working with beads?
When my husband and i opened a rock , mineral and cabs shop, I started working with the materials on hand to show customers what could be done with them, and became addicted myself!

If you were a bead, what kind would you be? Why?
A perfect round South Sea golden pearl.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could have only one kind of bead with you, what would it be and why?
It would be a #8 seed bead as it would be large enough to be useful when making a fishing net, and small enough to make a fishing lure. Survival would be the name of the game!

What is the best advice you've ever received from a bead artist, teacher or beading friend?
Wash your hands often while beading.

Do you have a particular quote that you think reflects your personal philosophies? If yes, please share it.
"Life is not about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself" George B. Shaw

What was the best beady gift that you have ever received? What was the best beady gift that you ever gave to someone else?
I don't think I have ever received a beady gift. I gave a gothic all black, grey and bronze bead-woven necklace to one of my cousins

Aside from beading, do you do any other crafts? What are they?
I sew.

What three words would best describe your current bead stash?
Too much!

Please include a photograph of your very best piece of beadwork, if you have one available.
My favorite large beaded Seraphinite.
